Eid-ul-Adhha is Friday 31 July 2020

Posted on: 20 July 2020

Assalamu Alaykum

The High Judicial Court of Saudi Arabia has just announced that Wednesday 22 July is the first day of the month of Thul-Hijjah and tomorrow Tuesday 21 July is the 30th day of Thul-Qi’dah.

This means that Eid-ul-Ahha Day is on Friday 31 July 2020 and the Day of Arafat is Thursday 30 July.

Please note that there is NO outdoor Eid prayer or Eid Festival in Victoria Park this year because of the Covid-19.

For the same reason above and in Leicester Masjid-us-Sunnah is still closed and all Jumua’ah, Jama’ah and Eid Prayers and all other congregational activities are suspended temporarily until further notice.

Please increase your good deeds and worship activities throughout the whole first 10 days of Thul-Hijjah starting from this Wednesday.

May Allah accept all good deeds?

EID MUBARAK to you all.
